After use, the top can spin to hide the waste. The cigars on top remain clean (as well as your hands), because there is a lid that keeps the ashes separate from the surface experience of the object.<\/p>\n<p>The ash receiver has a reflective surface, which inspired a new use during brainstorming, an interactive mirror. Inspired by the similar shape of <a href=\"http:\/\/interactionstudiosp11.kakirine.com\/?p=126\">Last Clock<\/a> by Jussi \u00c3\u201engeslev\u00c3\u00a4 and Ross Cooper, I added a time-lapse element, so the deeper level of the ashtray would reflect the image from say two minutes ago. The pivot point holds the camera and reflects your image. The lid extends this view, and then the bowl area would reveal your image from before.
