Peer review feedback

The feed back during our peer review was great. Throughout the course of the last 10 days I have been trying to figure out what methods would work for the best interactions and how to make them work for the best.

Peer feedback:

  • Use three methods of interacting. Thumbs up, thumbs down, and the middle finger. These would either like a page, take you to a new page, and take you to a page with a bubbly cartoon.
  • Instead of worrying about actually tracking the contours of the hands, set up masks that will have a range where the area can be hit in order to produce the actions.
  • If “liked” snap a picture and post it to facebook.

Limitations:

Working this in openFrameworks it allows for a lot of flexibility and is capable of a lot. the main issue at this point I am concerned about is creating the ability to automate the photo capture and posting. As of now I know that the ability to enable a specific mouse a mouse click is doable at this point. So once the program is running the mouse would need to be placed on the like button in order for it to work.
